Which is your favorite city in India and Why?

I can't tell you how many times me and my friends have bunked the school and coaching classes, drove our bikes or cars to the different places. We used to just sit and smoke and got drunk. Talked for hours. The scenery, the peace, the chirping of birds, it was just amazing.
Even today when we all meet, we just drive to these places, get drunk and talk about our lives for hours.
These are my favourite places to smoke and drink booze with my friends.

Weather and climate.

  • Due to it's awesome location Dehradun has very pleasant climate. In summers, after a hot day , rainfall is bound to happen the next day. In evening also cool wind blows.

  • In rainy season, it rains cats and dogs in Dehradun. You will fall in love with this city during the rainy season. When the rain ends and when the cloud clears, the view of the Himalayan foothills is speechless.

  • In winter season, the temperature can drop to one degree. The view of the snow covered hills will make you crazy.

Food, restaurants, cafes.

If you belong to Dehradun then you must know how tasty and mouth watering chinese food is available in this city. There are many cafes located at amazing places where you can hang out with your friends and just chill.

  • There are infinite number of places in Dehradun where you can be close to the nature. I remember back when I was a kid I used to cycle with my friends and go to a forest. We used to go deep into this forest and sit on a causeway and watch the sunset.
Ya! This is that forest.

Story of this pic, we were up all night talking and drinking booze. In morning we decided to go to Mussoorie. We drove our car there and clicked this picture. Ya! the guy showing his boxers( see it carefully!) is me and those two morons are my best friends.

Mussoorie (THE QUEEN OF HILLS) is just 27 kM from Dehradun. It takes one hour maximum to reach there.

  • Dehradun has way much less traffic and population than places like Delhi and Mumbai. There are infinite places where you can be alone and at peace.
