Vancouver is located on the Burrard Peninsula and has often won the
title of ‘most livable city in the world’. The city owes much of its
beauty to the backdrop provided by the gorgeous North Shore Mountain
range. Vancouver enjoys a far milder climate than most of Canada,
meaning that enjoying the city’s natural beauty is easy on most days of
the year. The city’s largest public recreational area, Stanley Park, is
over 1000 acres in extent and houses over 500 000 trees.
